TCF

It became official, that River’s Run & Ride Rally sponsored the first support group for bereaved families in our area. Ben and Deanna are leaders for The Compassionate Friends Chapter of the Northwoods in Milltown, WI. The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is just that, compassionate people gathering to share their children, and their lives. One of the purposes of the organization was to give to TCF, and starting a chapter locally is amazing. There is an annual fee, and that was what was covered by River’s Run & Ride Rally. We also gave to The Clear Lake Chapter and the St Paul Chapter last year. These chapters are where Ben and Deanna began their journey with TCF, just one month after River passed away. It was through the amazing people, and support they received that they decided it was time to offer that nearby. The goal is to help as many people as they can, and to help these families know they are not alone.
